    We once had a local guide in Costa Rica who explained that he had spent a year in the USA on an exchange program for farm kids in high school. He was excited when he learned he would be spending a year on a farm in North Dakota, as he would see and experience snow for the first time.

    He said that one winter was plenty for him.

    What a warm and inviting scene! Pull up a bale and sit awhile. We can visit while watching the dancing flames from the fire!
