My neighbors definitely go all out for holidays with outdoor lights and decorations. Every year this Santa works diligently before the holidays, making toys for good neighborhood boys and girls.
PS. Enjoy the first day of winter!! This Saturday is the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, marking our shortest daylight period and longest night of the year.
A sweet Santa sitting in the snow. A winter we don't have here yet, rain and high temperatures and very dark days.
ReplyDeleteA very cute Santa! I am definitely looking forward to longer days. It gets dark at 4.30pm here and that is sometimes very depressing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 50s flashback too.
ReplyDeleteCute Santa! Starting tomorrow, our days start getting longer. YAY!
ReplyDeleteThese homemade and hand painted decorations are the best! Brings out the kid in me!
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteI love this Santa!
ReplyDelete(yes, Dundas is a town that is now part of the megacity of Hamilton.)
That is a cute Santa.
ReplyDeleteI am always happy to see the winter solstice because now the days begin to get longer, although the worst of winter is still ahead.
He is a jolly looking Santa!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky with neighbors like these...
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have realized it was winter solstice if I haven't read it. Long nights are ahead I guess.

Hi Kate! I've been busy at the North Pole helping Santa get things ready for Christmas! Plus, I needed a break. But now am back sporadically for awhile. Hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteRe these lawn Santas: We've got lots of the blow-up kind. They look rather funny without air in them, laying sprawled on lawns throughout the neighborhood.
Hope you're well and wishing you a great holiday season!
Oh that is too cute! I love these short days. I don't feel so guilty about putting on my robe and slippers if it's dark outside!
ReplyDeleteThis is an old-fashioned kind that I have not seen much in recent years.
ReplyDeleteThis Santa looks quite whimsical!
ReplyDeleteLooks like there is a woman under that beard.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
