Hi Kate, I guess every place has its pros and cons. I'd rather be in the beach too, but there are still work until 23th more or less. Warm greetings from Mexico.
Ah, my dear friend Brooks, perhaps we could work out a trade during the winter: me in Hawai'i and you in MN. Then you could trudge through the ice and snow to your heart's content!
This is the exact scene on one of the first email Christmas cards I ever received...if I remember correctly, there was a bird that decorated the tree and got it to twinkle...very charming!!!
I just went through a backlog of your posts. I can't believe how long its been sine I was here. So sorry. I guess life and just plain "stuff" gets in the way. I think I am back on track now. (:0)
Mexico? When you could build a snowman or throw a snowball or make a snow angel?
ReplyDeleteMagnifique, une carte postale de noel, il nous manque juste d'écouter "white christmas"
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful tho!
ReplyDeleteLiving here I forget how beautiful snow can be. I hope you get to Mazatlan soon, dear Kate.

ReplyDeleteOh dear. Wish I could wish you warmer weather, but I guess that's useless. The scene is lovely though, and that's what I call a real Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteWhen you book your ticket, get one for me, too. This is such a great shot, though. You make those who don't live in this stuff wish they did.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful sitting at my desk while its 85 outside.
ReplyDeleteJust a Christmas card shot Kate. I guess snow isn't as big a deal up there as it is when we get an inch or two! Enjoy it if you can! :)

i understand you´rather be at beach, but for me this image is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI sure miss Minnesota's wonderful seasons. You don't seem to realize how depressing it is to live in a place that doesn't have any.

A picture postcard but I'm sure you are missing Mexico. Think warm thoughts Kate.
