Is that Pussy Willow in the blue bottles? Wow. It is way too cold for those here now. I think it is 45 degrees. I have been up an hour already.

  6. I love blue and turquoise glass.
I wonder what the branches are, blooming so late in the year.

  9. Blue bottles. Down here in the south you might see such stuck on the tips of tree branches. I like your art better.

  10. Looking good.

I went on a nature hike with my sons Cub Scout troop. One of the bushes we found was the Pussy Willow. We clipped off a branch, put the branch in a cup of water, waited a week and there were roots now growing off of the branch ready to be planted into the ground.

  11. Fab photo, Kate. The blue is clear, the pussy willow is fuzzy.

  12. Cool bottles! Alice is right. You should use those again for the "blue" theme! Thanks for visiting my blog!

  13. I love blue glass, too. It's hard to find a blue bottle, though.

  14. Suddenly, we are seeing blue photos prior to Nov. 1. These "rejects" for theme day are all wonderful in their own right. Can't wait to see the first-choice photos.

  16. Looks like a Japanese painting! About your next visit to the Frida's exposition, I can tell that the firt time I saw her work in a museum, it was quite a shock, for her great art and for her life. Another very interesting painter is Remedios Varo. Cheers from M.C.
