Tacky?

I couldn't help noticing this yard as I drove by. My taste is a bit different: "less is more!" But, I guess if it makes them happy, it's okay by me, especially since it's not my yard.

    Holy cow! That is a bit overdone! LOL... now keep your fingers crossed they take it down right after Halloween and dont leave it up for weeks on end (like people do with Xmas lights!)

    That's a lot of decor, wow! you should check this place later and see how (if at all) it transforms to Thanksgiving and/or Christmas decor.

    Yes, it is a little too much. :-)

    I don't understand the ghoulish fascination with the decorations. Personally, I would hang out some lights and maybe some bats and owls. And that's it.

    One tried to introduce the Halloween tradition in France a few years ago, but has not really worked... not based on any real tradition here and a bit too commercial only. ... but for you, it's really something!

    I agree with you that sometimes less is more. But I'm sure the little ones in the neighbourhood just love all of the Halloween items out for display and they would probably scream "MORE, MORE".

    Some folks love Halloween the best. It's not for me, but that's my problem I guess.

    Halloween is the new Christmas as far as decorating is concerned.
