I was startled to see this object hanging from a small branch on a tree. These foreign objects, either real or not, are out-of-place in nature...or should be!
Hmm, interesting. Now that I think about it, I have a foreign object on a tree photo that I must post, too. I know what it is in that case, but I'm mystified by this.
Ugly. Someone should take it down pronto! I wish people would realize that trees are living things and not posts. A while ago someone was selling these "tree faces" by the road then I started seeing them on trees in the countryside.
perhaps an adult placed it there after finding it--thinking a child would come looking for it. we had fun with water guns when we were kids, but I don't know about this one.
Great shot! I wonder like your other visitors if it had been accidently left behind by some kids playing (or perhaps, an older child was hiding it from his smaller sibling).
Wonder if it's a paint ball gun. Someone must have forgotten it.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a mystery...it looks to have been there awhile. Makes me wonder what little cherub put it in that tree.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like any real weapon - but it sure is ugly.
ReplyDeleteIs it a gun from a watering system - or perhaps a toy - hate toy guns!
ReplyDeleteRight, it's not attractive in this beautiful setting or anywhere else. I love the lichen on the tree.
Thanks for comment on Monte Carlo DP. I wish you were there too!
Wow. Wonder how it got there? The branch is broken. You never know what you might see these days.
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking at all those morning glory blooma.

ReplyDeletevery good, the Star Wars it are moved with St Paul; O). Beautiful glance
It was probably left there by some follower of Wells or Welles... ;)

ReplyDeleteOMG.. I can see that the branch is broken. Someone had broken it by shooting on it with the help of the toy gun?? Oh I wonder. :P

I would rather have the peaches hanging from my tree branches.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly where one would expect to find a toy gun.

ReplyDeletePerhaps it was hung for a moment and then became forgotten.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
Someone was a naughty boy so mama put his toy on the tall branches so he can't reach it.
ReplyDeleteOr the aliens are coming.
I escpecially hope that it's not hanging on a nail in the tree.
