Kate's-Believe-It-Or-Not~~a Fourth!

I haven't eaten at Grandma Rita's Cafe, but I'll try it this week! Perhaps I'll abandon this thread for awhile and return to it if and when I find more. I'm launching a new feature because I love my city and state, despite the winter weather, and I'd like to share its history with you!

Today in MN History: 1848-Henry H. Sibley is chosen to represent the as-yet unrecognized MN-Territory in the U.S. Congress. (Historical information taken from MN Historical society website: mnhs.org)

Try a thread of coffee/cake shops, then you have an excuse to sample everything! Now there's an idea!

  2. Lovely!

Oh, you'll be getting a postcard from KL soon. All I need is your address. Send it to me through KLDP or the DP email.

  10. Good morning, Kate,

    You've got my number for I was indeed a snuggled-down-slug-abed this a.m.

This triangle building is very appealing, as are all the other two story ones you showed over the past few days.

My wishes for a fine day come to you.

  13. I have been browsing this "flatiron" or "triangle" series and think you have raised an interesting subject. I particularly like such buildings and combined with a good spot where to eat seems to be the perfect match. I liked the Finnish bistro too!

  14. Hi Kate! It's a nice idea with triangle buildings' photos! When I was posting mine on katowicedailyphoto, I didn't know about your collection. Greetings from Poland :)
