    Good morning, Kate,

    It looks like a corn doll, the corm dried on the cob. I like those dolls for Fall displays inside and for birds' delights outside.

    I think we're all children at heart! Halloween brings out the adults thru the decorations which are sprouting out all over the town.

    Olivier, yes this is a preparation for Halloween, and it gets better the closer we get to the 31st.

    Lovely! I have a soft spot for scarecrows ! I know there's a scarecrow festival in the Blue Mountains in autumn but we'll have to wait another six months for that!
