Can't wait to share this until tomorrow! Last night the songbird we affectionately refer to as "Babs" sang her heart out at the Excel Center in St. Paul, probably the last major tour she'll make and certainly the last time she'll be here where she ate, but she didn't call me first! Ironically, the Excel Center is going to hold the National Republican Convention. For a partial view of this building, look here at Slinger's Twin City photo of it.

What other word can you use to describe her but FABULOUS. And you got a fabulous photo of her. She is indeed a legend in her own time.
ReplyDeleteIf you read carefully and follow the links, I think you'll get my "joke." While here in our wonderful city Fabulous Babs ate at a neighborhood saloon that I had posted before in August. They must have been astonished when she walked in, but I hope they got an autographed picture of her to post next to the local athletes' photos on the wall.
