Camera Critters-Beseeching for the Outcome! (Repost)

Looking heavenward, my loyal friend, Maggi, seems to be beseeching for the correct outcome of tonight's game with the Atlanta Falcons.

Divided Household-Camera Critters

Are you ready for some...FOOTBALL?!  I live in a divided NFL football family: my DH, children and grandchildren root for the Minnesota Vikings, but my loyalty resides with my childhood home team aka the Packers.  Maggi and I are the only Packer-Backers in the family.  I take my sports support anywhere I can get it!! We both prefer Aaron Rodgers to an aging 41-year-old prima donna quarterback!...And, the fight was on!!

But sometimes I can get kids that aren't totally tainted by the Vikings to pose a little for the better team.

To see more  camera critters, many of whom I'm sure are as interesting as my dog Maggi, click here. But I wonder how many of them are Packer Backers??

Camera Critters-Old dog/New dog

Maggi is our 9-year-old dog and Lexie is approximately 1-year-old.  Can you tell which is which? (Not fair if you know which one is Maggi from a former post!).

This year we decided to drive to our winter destination, and we took Maggi with us. Our son who lives in and takes care of our house while we are gone was so lonesome that he got a dog for himself!  As a kid and young adult, he brought many animals home with whom we ended up, of course. Despite now being a mature adult, I wonder how this would work out.  As predicted, guess who's dog-sitting tonight?!

Wanna Play?

I've been told that when a dog has this kind of stance, it really wants to play. Our dog Maggi often "bows" like this after she greets us. In this guest photo by Jeremy, Maggi has just been approached by another dog at the dog park.

Born on the 4th of July!

DH is really getting into the blogging mentality. Yesterday he suggested a much better subject for the 4th of July than the one I had posted. Maggi, our 6-year-old "mongrel" dog, was born on the 4th of July and is of mixed breed. This is similar to the mixed ancestry of most Americans and certainly is parallel with the members in our own small family who can lay claim to African American, Belgian, Dutch, French, German, Irish, Italian, and Native American ancestors. Now that's truly USA!!
