Regarding your comment at yesterday's post- the shots I'm showing now through the end of the series were taken on the third weekend of May, the last of the festival. Most of the tulips are done now, though I photographed a good looking set at an embassy this past weekend during our Doors Open event. Some of the tulips this year were late bloomers.
Your flower photos should be printed large and hung on the wall to enjoy in all seasons.
ReplyDeleteThe peonies are absolutely gorgeous Kate, whenever I see them I get an urge to rush to the nursery ☺
ReplyDeleteThey are delightful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Kate. Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers Kate and I'm sure WW would agree. I see that WW is up and out on the flower display circuit once again inspecting the flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
In time honored fashion of garage sales run by two or more families, we acquired some artificial peonies from one of our neighbors recently.
ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful. I love peonies. While I've seen others blooming around here I'm still waiting for mine to burst out of their growing buds.
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to grow peonies in our front yard back in Illinois when I was a kid. I always loved them.
