Since this is the last post in my Fitzgerald's series, it is fitting that I show the high regard our family has for F. Scott. We cannot seem to be able to bypass him whenever we are in the vicinity of Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul. Rain or shine, we always have time to stop and greet him. Notice the slight smile on Fitzgerald's face when we stop to chat with him.

There's nothing quite like real fans!
ReplyDeleteHe does seem bemused. I tend to say hello to the statue here of Oscar Peterson whenever I pass by him.
ReplyDeleteYup! A definite happy smile 😊 Kate I've just been back to catch up on the Fitzgerald posts I missed while busy with my sister in hospital. I really enjoyed each one, especially having a look inside the brownstone he and Zelda lived in while in Minnesota. Did you see 'Midnight in Paris'? I looove that movie, the Fitzgeralds feature quite prominently. The opening sequence filmed around Paris is fabulous!
