It is hard to believe but I saw these women-knitters again this past week at a local cafe. I first met them in September of 2011, and they are still knitting and having a good time socialising and perfecting their considerable skills.
Tomorrow I will show you portraits of a few other talented members of their group. They remembered that I had taken their photos 5 years ago and invited me to join them. Hmm! I always wanted to learn how to knit. Probably would be a bit intimidating, though!!
i always wanted to learn as well, wasn't meant to be ;)
ReplyDeletego for it. it will bring you such joy. and peace.

My wife knits and crochets and absolutely loves it. According to her, it does give her inner peace and joy.
ReplyDeleteO I love it! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy mother knitted until arthritis was too much of a problem. My aunts still knit.
ReplyDeleteKudos to those who do this kind of thing. I've always been more of a knit-picker!
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to take that up..but have waited too long. Arthritis has set in in both hands.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and enjoy the time and these good people
ReplyDeleteI haven't knit in years but always enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteDon't know why, but I would have guessed that you are a knitter.
ReplyDeleteKnitting can be enjoyable but I haven't stuck with it. A neighbor has offered to rescue me from the mistake I made that stopped my last knitting adventure. I should follow through and finish the darned thing.
ReplyDeleteKnitting is fun, and with these happy teachers, you're set! Don't let being a beginner intimidate you. They were beginners once, too.
