Morning Walk
Wild Wendy, our newly adopted toy poodle, gets me up early for chow time and an early morning walk, which is usually quite bracing in a Minnesota winter. Taking my iPhone with me, I noticed this snowman with carrot nose, warm hat, and colourful eyes and mouth. Perhaps the creators used poker chips? While taking this photo I noticed that we had an observer inside the house, watching us. I'm not sure whether the child was more interested in Wendy or my attempt at photographing the front lawn creation at her home. Might have been both.

I bet the occupants are well used to people snapping this colourful chappie as they go by. So Wendy is making sure you don't miss the best part of the day Kate, good on her :)
ReplyDeletebtw are you still humming Piaf :)
Very cute. Imagine the child might have been the snowman's creator and was proud that it was being photographed!
ReplyDeleteThe snowman looks startled!
ReplyDeleteCreative snowman. You even got an admirer in the window :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen a blue eyed snowman. Rather like it. Wendy is going to keep you young.
ReplyDeletecute snowman. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd guess each of you played a part in the drama that was being watched from the window! Who knows, this young lady may decide to write a book one day based upon what she saw looking out her window. Perhaps she'd call it "Through a Snowman's Eyes." Well, now that I think about it, probably not a book. I see it more as a comedic sketch starring Mark Wahlberg.
ReplyDeleteNice one. Hardly any snowmen here in Florida.
ReplyDeleteYou and I are in sync the last couple of days . . . wolves yesterday (happy anniversary and nice idea to make a donation) and Edison today. You aren't planning a healthy eating restaurant tomorrow, are you?
A cute snowman! Love the hat.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the coolest snowmen I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice snowman, looks very well built up and decorated.
ReplyDelete"Mom! Come quick! Paparazzi in our front yard!"
ReplyDeleteHe's a cheerful guy with his bright eyes and buttons. Very creative kids!
