I took this photo with my iphone quite by accident. but it is very revealing. My DH refers to me as a "casual housekeeper."

I like this space. It looks comfortable as well as casual. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that! I'm pretty sure I fit in that description too! This looks like a ver comfortable room!
ReplyDeleteoh, amen to that! :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes those accidental shots turn out to be interesting. Your bookcases look a lot like mine, overflowing.
ReplyDeleteA "casual housekeeper." Yeah, we've got some of those here, too. I am terrified about the idea of emptying this house for sale one of these days.
ReplyDeleteIt is overwhelming; I've been putting it off for years. It's becoming critical now, tho.
DeleteI'm so proud of myself: I just gave four boxes of books to the library as well as an equal number of bundled magazines...ones that I couldn't part with four years ago and we hauled all the way from California. There are still plenty left, but it's a good start.
ReplyDeleteYou gave away books?! Are you daft, girl?! (Now you see why it is impossible to downsize or keep a neat room?!
DeleteVeru casual, I see!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have a comfy room.
ReplyDeleteI like this peek into your environment! Can I also use the term "casual housekeeper"? I like it!
ReplyDeleteNice accidental shot! I'll bet your husband is casual, too, no?
ReplyDeleteI like the term 'casual housekeeper'...
ReplyDeleteCasual is good Kate, obsessive cleaning is bad :)
ReplyDeleteI my opinion, books can never be called clutter! And I like to see that someone in your house is a Packers fan. :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, now that light rail goes into St Paul, I'm looking forward to exploring a lot more of it.
