DH and I are flying away to the Southeast and then renting a car to drive to St. Augustine, Savannah, Beaufort and Charleston and places in-between. I've scheduled some posts while I'm gone, but I'll probably add a few pictures that I take on the trip, too. I am excited to be going to these historical cities! I'd love to meet more bloggers in any of those cities, too. Hint! Hint!

The cathedral, in particular, looks like a spot of Europe dropped into St. Paul.

I have seen both! I've been to Minnesota quite a few times in my day...I always visited an aunt up there. She has since past but I have great memories of the Twin Cities.

When I see photos of St. Paul and Minneapolis I realize how much I miss living there! Still have a son in Richfield ... I have spent time in the cities you are visiting ... all great destinations. Have fun, travel safe.
ReplyDeleteWow! What beautiful buildings! One of these days soon I'm going to post a picture of our local city hall. Compared to spots like these it's modest, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice destinations for spring travel! Have a wonderful trip!
I know St. Augustine best and you will have a great time there...be sure to go through the old schoolhouse!
ReplyDeleteLooking at the two pictures it reminds me as to how often political buildings look like religious structures. There's probably a reason for that!
Two of my favorite places to visit! I love the photos near each other in your post...just across the freeway in reality.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the top of the capitol is getting a face lift. Have a great time.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip, Kate. I took a biking trip in Charleston, Beaufort and Savannah almost exactly one year ago. It was great! I hope your trip is also great.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip! Wish I was there to meet you. :)
