The Catwalk
This well-maintained block long cement path sandwiched between several houses stretches from one street to the next, and is affectionately known as The Catwalk. When my children were young they used it for biking, skateboarding, and roaming the neighborhood. Now it's a convenient shortcut during my morning neighborhood walk...helps me recover my health as well as lifts my spirit.

Hi Kate. Saw your comment on another blog. I hope you are on the mend and feeling better. I had 2 ER trips and 2 hospital stays including the 4th of July, but am also home and on the mend. And I agree, it sure does feel good to get out walking.
ReplyDeleteKate...I had been wondering where you were. Mahalo for your comment, and my prayers go out to you for a speedy recovery. Having nearly checked out last year from pneumonia and pleurisy, I know recovery takes a bit of time, and I'm just now starting to feel myself again. This walk looks like a great place to heal. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteKate! Welcome back! Sorry to read you've been unwell, hope things improve. I like this photo, it looks like the sort of alley way that could tell your kids childhood memories.
ReplyDeleteHope you continue to post when you feel that way inclined. Take it easy.
Marley :)

ReplyDeleteHi Kate, ever so pleased to hear you are on the mend. Hospitals have been a preoccupation at this end, too, one of the reasons I have so little time at present.
