ReplyDeletethe importance of the donkey in economic life, he deserves a statue well.
Not so many real burros around anymore? We have a few in our parks here, but today only carrying kids.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent. A really nice tribute to all the burros who work for mankind.

ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference between a burrow and an ass?
I left a message for you on Monte Carlo DP - thanks so much for your poetry suggestion.
I meant to write burro not burrow, of course!
ReplyDeleteI thought you stopped. ?
ReplyDeleteNice to commemorate the burro.

ReplyDeleteSuch nobility and humility. I like the little fellow and good to have him remembered.
ReplyDeleteA noble creature indeed. Very nice Kate.
ReplyDeleteHe looks big. Is he life sized? Nice catch :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Kate. Burros always make me think of "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." :)
ReplyDeleteI must say I have enjoyed perusing your blog. Your Sante Fe photos intrigued me. I have two dear metal sculptor friends that have moved there and I have always wanted to go and soak up every ounce of art there is there. PS Have you seen the Kate Hepburn room at the National Portrait Gallery in D.C.? Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBurros are donkeys, right?
ReplyDeleteIs a donkey different from an ass? Sorry, my knowledge of farm animals is somewhat limited.
