Only a Viewer
As I watched the set-up for the performance, I was indeed happy that I was a viewer rather than a performer. The actors, or should they be described as acrobats and dancers, have to have a great deal of confidence in the people who set the stage for their sway pole dances. Hang on, the performers will appear tomorrow!

Looking forward to seing the dancers tomorrow. By the way, Kate, have you ever watched Los Voladores in Mexico?
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that I haven't. I'm assuming that there is a connection. I'll have to google your suggestion.
DeleteI have never heard of this type of performance before. I look forward to tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it may be similar to the pole acrobats in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteoh, that just makes me scared to think about it!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anything like this before, although a couple days ago I did stumble across a group of stilt dancers from Columbia rehearsing for a performance on Saturday. This is going to be good...I'll be back tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to watch that! I have an awful sense of balance so I appreciate anyone who has the talent to do anything like this!
ReplyDeleteNice captures. Looks like an interesting show.
ReplyDeleteI missed this post. I don't see any bouncy mattresses on the ground, either. They better know what they are doing 'cause when bones meet concrete (or brick) it can be kinda messy.
