I just talked to my brother who lives in St. Cloud. He is in his yard with his chainsaw slicing up the trees that he lost in the wind storm, one of which just missed his car.
It seems like if it's not fires in the west, it's wind, tornadoes, flooding, hurricanes, and earthquakes. That looks like it was a nice big old tree that provided lots of shade. Too bad, I hope no one got hurt.
This must be part of the storm that came roaring through Chicago Friday where I was. You know, I checked the weather several times before I left on Thursday it said nothing about rain. Oh well, I needed a new umbrella anyway. I see there was quite a lot of damage in your area. It wasn't quite this bad in Chicago.
Trees are nice, but what goes up must come down.
ReplyDeleteOh NO! Hope no one was hurt!!!
ReplyDeleteO dear that looks bad.
ReplyDeleteChange the description from "park-like" to "sun-flooded" and you'll be away.....
ReplyDeletedramatic shots, i am always afraid during the big storms that a pecan tree will crash down.
ReplyDeleteHope their insurance was in force. Repairs and clean up should put all back in order.

ReplyDeleteI don't like these kinds of things. It reminds me of Florida after a hurricane! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteOh that's not good.
