    Timber! I remember well how heartbreaking it can be when a favorite tree gets cut down suddenly by a storm. And looking at the shallow roots, one wonders how strong it must have been, before not being able any more to carry all that weight and withstand those angry forces of the wind.

    Oh my gosh Kate..just looking here and last post, that was a mega storm! To pull such a big tree out by the roots like that, must have been very frightening.
