Meet my neighbor who was busy clearing his driveway from the most recent snowfall. Eric is a pretty tall guy so you can get some idea of the height of the snowbanks. His driveway is just to his right, and he paused long enough to let me take his photo. Check the level of the snow next to his car in the driveway.

If I think that last December Livorno was almost paralyzed by one inch of snow...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you are really still in the depths of winter.
ReplyDeleteI bet you are now wondering where to put the snow! You have so much! What a nice guy your neighbour is to let you take his photo. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is us too... 10 more inches yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI know Eric and his family from our church, Gloria Dei Lutheran in St. Paul! I told him after a worship service recently that I had met you thru the CDP blog community - small world!
ReplyDeleteI can see why your excited for your trip away from the snow.
ReplyDeleteAnd it keeps on coming! You sure have a lot of snow out there.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you Minnesotans have your work cut out for you.
ReplyDeleteYikes! That kind of snowfall would shut us down here! And we gripe about a few inches, we are such wimps. Our daughter and son-in-law drive snow plows for the city of Prescott. If we had that much snow, they would never get to go home!
ReplyDeleteOh, good grief! That's ridiculous! I have to say that I don't think I'd want to live in Minnesota in the wintertime again...
ReplyDeleteToo much snow is not a good thing. We are entering another Little Ice Age?
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Kate. And I'm complaining at an overcast sky!
ReplyDeleteWow that is a lot of snow! He looks like a friendly fellow.
ReplyDeleteEric looks to be making the best of it, the only way in my view. I have a friend lives in St Paul and she said the snow was quite heavy this year, but your pics bring it to life.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Canon, here in Leeds we have a good place where one of the guys used to work for Canon and they are very good, they lent me something recently for free.
