If you have been following the theme, An-Apple-a-Day, it's pretty clear that Joy Liberman, the artist, found more than one way to depict an apple! Appropriate to the month of May, Joy presented various stages of apple blossoms. I know you want to know more about this talented artist so click here to visit Joy's web page to read her biography and to view her wide range of subjects. You can also order prints and paintings from her...just tell her I sent you!!

My wife, Julie, will love this. She loves taking macro photos of cactus flowers in Arizona, but we do not have any apple blossoms there.
ReplyDeleteWow, just gorgeous. Such a talented woman.
ReplyDeleteTks so much for the most welcome comment ref the crocuses on RuT, Kate. These apple blossoms are also something to look forward to. (Much better than that old pig's head from a couple of years ago! I haven't forgotten it.)
ReplyDeleteThis has to be my favorite month of apples so far! Stunning!
ReplyDeleteShe is all an artist!!

First, before I forget, the reason that little house in Cedar Key is up on blocks is because Cedar Key is at about zero sea level...and hurricanes come roaring through there every once in awhile. In fact, I've seen a post showing sea levels during storms and highest was 12 feet. The house wouldn't be protected in such a storm but for smaller storms and higher tides, being up on blocks helps a bit. New homes, I believe, are required to be built on stilts!
ReplyDeleteYour artist friend is very accomplished and very creative. Apple blossoms are some of the prettiest blossoms (in my humble opinion!)...
Ya, got me 'dreamin' of June in Maine.
ReplyDeleteWow! May is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely painting!
ReplyDeleteRefreshing to see all these gorgeous blossoms when it's so darn cold out. I'll go check her out!
ReplyDeleteThis might be the best one yet. Excellent!
