For those of you who have asked, each individual painting is 8"x 8". The top photo is part of the month of October. Immediately to its right is the "William Tell" painting, which I posted earlier right here.

I always used to believe this saying but I miss those old varieties of apple that we don't see these days. Of course they don't store well and so they are not commercial. Sorry Kate I've not visited for a while. I can see I missed all sorts of good things. Hope the shoulder is progressing...
ReplyDeleteThis one shows a different side to the apple a day collection. Another nice one, Kate.
ReplyDeleteWhat talent!
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying this series.
ReplyDeleteI was also interested to see your comment on Brattcat's site about more snow coming your way. I will have to call my brother in St. Cloud today to complain that we have some clouds in Scottsdale today and ask him how his weather is.
Interesting but a little scary on the close up. Maybe it's the eyes.
ReplyDeleteNice series and great idea to promote apples.
ReplyDeleteI saw your former teacher friend turned apple painting artist featured in the Highland Villager this morning as we were eating "brunch" at the St Clair Broiler after Gloria Dei....
ReplyDeleteYa, a different look to an apple a day.
ReplyDeleteI love your friend's creativity at interpreting the apple a day idea with so many variations.
ReplyDeleteA thought provoking artistic endeavor; a painting of an apple a day. Makes one think about composition and how to capture the same object daily but differently. We photographers can learn much from our fellow painting artists.
