  5. The exterior texture and color remind me of a glacier. The curve makes it interesting.

  6. This is my favourite so far...it's interesting, I like the colour. I wasn't entirely convinced about the Warrior one which to me anyway was a little "clunky"

PS Not my birthday sadly. I've already experienced my 50th!

  14. I do like outside art installation. Whether I like a piece or not it's the fact that art can nbe ina public place for all to enjoy and discuss. eat virtual walk around these pieces.

  16. About the totem like sculpture: Totem poles as a permanent display are not associated with ABoriginal culture. However, I understand some groups carve and decorate such poles as part of funeral rituals and they are then left to weather and rot (hence there not being many in existence)

  19. I do like this. I wasn't so sure about the previous one called 'frame.' art is so subjective isn't it? Just think it wonderful when we get to see such art out of doors.

Gosh it is nice and took a bit of work to complete. I can never complain about art in the public because the artist sold it and it is on display.

  21. Whether you like it or not - art often gives good reasons to discussion - is in my mind not the most important. The major thing is that some place is given to our contemporary artists!
