Just catching up with your sculptures, Kate. I really like this - so much strength and vigour. Looked back and all are so interesting - particularly like the Writers' Bench although I'm not sure it would be too comfortable but perhaps it's not meant to be sat on?
Wow, impressive. Not beautiful, maybe... but impressive. And a bit scary, haha!
ReplyDeletehow impressive!
ReplyDeletehave a good day Kate.
It looks huge!
ReplyDeleteI love the bottom shot, nice composition and perspective.
Hi, very interesting works, the one in the background looks huge too. Guess, sculpture is like poetry in third dimension. Cheers from MC.

ReplyDeleteVery strange sculpture...
ReplyDeleteBut very beautiful photos...
All the sculptures you've been showing are very original. It must be an interesting park, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteI t reminds me of The Wicker Man. It's such a powerful sculputre and you've got it just right.
ReplyDeleteI like the smaller shot best, you can really see how big the sculpture is.
ReplyDeleteThat is big. What is the one in the background?
ReplyDeleteWhat an imagination of the artist. I saw similar human-like figures at a Dallas Sculpture Garden and a shopping mall of all places.
ReplyDeleteA bit like from the book and film - is it The Iron Giant?
ReplyDeleteI wish the artist would have put a mechanized thingy on the man so he could walk and scare people during halloween =D
