A Memorial

The entrance to my neighborhood supermarket usually has one of its foyers decorated with holiday schemes. I was stopped in my tracks recently when I saw these photos beneath a holiday tree. Both of these men were loyal employees and both met a tragic death. Too young! Too young!

  1. Glad to see you back, Kate.

Yes it's always a tragedy to see people die before their time. Here flowers are often left, photos less usually though a photo really does make the point...

  4. Hi Kate. So sorry about the men. I'm sure seeing this is a painful moment for all the frequent shoppers there, but a respectful reminder of their lives.

Oh my. What a shame. My wife's nephew got up and got ready for work, kissed his wife, drove down the road about a mile and was killed. Those kinds of things are hard to take and sometimes destroys a family.

  7. It is sad to see tragedy strike twice. Last week three people from the same company were just gunned down by a disgruntled former employee. I can't imagine what the families must be going through.
