Halloween at Lunds!

Some people remain young at heart, regardless of age.  Heidi, working the cash register at Lund's Food Market in Highland Village in St. Paul, MN. is one of them!  She has worked at the store for 4 years and dresses up for Halloween. Heidi grew up in Stillwater, Mn but now resides in St. Paul. Although she wasn't familiar with photo blogs, she readily agreed to have me take and post her photo. Heidi is #51/100 in my Strangers Project.

TRICK OR TREAT?

WHO CAN RESIST HALLOWEEN?!!

As a kid, there are some things you looked forward to. You looked forward to Charlie Brown during Halloween and you looked forward to Monday Night Football.

Second Childhood

What do we have here? Looks like a group of neighbors and friends having a great time at an adult Halloween party! There are kittens, a Green Bay Packer coach, Boy Scouts, Goldilocks and the Wolf, el Muerto, a bear from the bear market, a fleeced stockholder, the Lone Ranger, a Deviled Egg and George Bush with his head on a plate!

Recycling is good!

I used this last year and it's too good not to use it again. I'm doing my bit for humanity: reduce, reuse, recycle! Happy Halloween!!

Early Halloween

Merchants in our fair city have annually opened their doors to costumed trick or treaters the week-end before Halloween. A supermarket in my neighborhood is a favorite stop because of the costumed adults handing out the goodies and the high quality of the treats. For several hours on Saturday the street was filled with goblins, princesses, pirates, monsters and other imaginative creatures!

Halloween Fun!

Adults can have Halloween fun, too. This delightful decoration is on the front lawn of a neighbor's home where NO childen reside. Doesn't seem to stop any of us from decorating to please the munchins who come to our door every year, begging for goodies.

Tacky?

I couldn't help noticing this yard as I drove by. My taste is a bit different: "less is more!" But, I guess if it makes them happy, it's okay by me, especially since it's not my yard.
