"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
See what you are missing, Snowbirds! Jim, our mailman had one day of rest last week, but carried on the rest of the time. Yesterday was a bit challenging!
Yikes! That poor fellow is certainly dedicated. And, here I thought 45 degrees here this morning was cold enough.
ReplyDeleteOurs work through this too.
ReplyDeleteA tough man!
ReplyDeleteWe had one day last week when the mailmen just did deliveries on main streets so mainly commercial delivery. The smaller residential streets were almost impassable.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...Brrrr...That's crazy weather but I am so thankful that the mail must go through.
ReplyDeleteAbout BLOODY time, Kate. Thought something had happened.
ReplyDeleteWe have drought and forest fires raging close tous
Erk, I never really thought of people having to brave the elements to deliver mail.
ReplyDeleteGosh he's good to keep going, I guess he doesn't really have a choice.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking he would finish a lot faster without all of that junk mail!
