Fiber Art:Voices of the Tribe #2

 Here are two more pieces of Dina O'Sullivan's "Creation" objects of fiber art as seen in Unity-Unitarian's gallery for visual art pieces. One is Asian and the other is African.

  12. I think my favorite is yesterday's red Native American; the African is a strong second. I wish the heads were larger - they seem almost cartoonish to me - but I suppose a fabric artist wants the fabrics to take center stage.

  18. The heads are meant to be small.It is a right of the artist to make it the way they want.
