Tea for Two-ABC WEDNESDAY "T"

While we were in South Carolina, we visited a tea plantation which renewed my interest in tea.  I've been learning about tea at a local Highland Park shop, The Tea Source. These tea kettles probably make excellent tea, but I'm still using my china Cordon Bleu tea pot which looks terrific with my new floral tea cozy, plus it makes great tea!

  1. Nothing like a good cup of tea! Nice one for the letter 'T'. I'm so bummed I had to temporarily bail out of ABC Wednesday. But, I'll be back!

  2. Ah, I do enjoy a good cup of tea. Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon work for me. :)

  12. I do love the British "Brown Betty" teapots but I have one that my sister found at Murchies in Vancouver - it's china with teddy bears on it. It does make good tea, too!

  13. I have a tea collection (two hutches full) of tea pots, cups and saucers and all things related to "tea". We all have a favorite tea pot or kettle don't we??

  14. I don't have one of these tea pots, but they look like "real" tea pots to me. I just use one of those water kettles to boil water and pour the boiling water into a cup with a tea bag in it. Not atmospheric, but it gets the job done.

  19. You've touched a nerve here! I have a small but passionately loved collection of iron Japanese teapots. Our tea gets made in a conventional ceramic pot. The Japanese teapots are eye candy; they fill my heart with their graceful elegance. They are all shaped somewhat differently than the workhorses you show here but have that beautiful arched handle.
