A Minnesota Worker

Several years ago I posted a number of Minnesota Workers as a theme, which I think I will resurrect again since it was so interesting for me.  No-one refused to accommodate me and were pleased to be photographed.  This man is working on a newly-designed complex being built on St. Catherine University's campus (right behind our house): apartments, studios, assisted living units as well as a memory wing. I'll show you more photos of the construction of this ambitious project tomorrow.

  1. Always nice with portraits, you should try to get a few facts about the people you photograph.

  4. You have to be a hearty soul and dressed warmly to work outside in the Minnesota winter.

  7. Very fine photograph ... you charmed him for sure. Reminds me of the women highway workers I posted on Colorado in Color a few days ago...same color outfits.

It wasn't as cold in Colorado, though. Of course, I took the shots in September! :-)

Now, what's a "memory wing." I'm getting to the point where my memory takes wing ev'ry once in awhile...so this might be a place for me ... ah, if it was in Florida!
