Cecil's

Cecil's Delicatessen is one of the best delis in the Twin Cities.  Maybe the best! Nick, who grew up in the Highland area, has worked in the store for five years.  A graduate of Nativity grade school  and Cretin-Derham High School he probably knows many of the regular customers.

  2. Cretin-Derham? CRETIN? They must be joking, Kate. I know it's named after Joseph Crétin, but REALLY!

  4. Oh, I don't know. I think it would be kinda fun to chant "Go Cretins!"

    Great portrait shot!

  5. Anne and I used to walk down from Wellesley Ave thru St. Kate's campus for Rueben sandwiches at Cecil's - we're long overdue for a visit there!

  8. Nothing like a good deli. We've got one here in Ocala that's pretty decent but otherwise have to drive to The Villages where there are several!
