Goodness - what is the yellowish item? It doesn't look like a salad or vegetable. And the white? Cream? Perhaps eggs poached in water? I recognise the onions, the tomato, lettuce or perhaps it's spinach. Anyway as you say, a bit of everything.
I must compliment you on the salad. It pleases the eye and I am sure the taste is great. I love salads and can't get enough of them but it runs in streaks.
Jilly, the white is sour cream and the yellow is grated cheddar cheese. The bottom layer is Romaine lettuce but it could be spinach, too, if you wish. Served with chips of any kind. It is quite tasty and very filling.
"A Little Bit of Everything!", just correct ! It could be very wise advise to many of us. Older men here are still laughing to salads, they are saying, it`s food of animals, but they know now, how important it is to eat. They just keep going that fun in their speaking.
Thanks for explaining. Sounds wonderful! I didn't think of cheese as being that orangey colour but of course cheddar does come in several shades! All looks delicious. And I agree with you about food pics - this is a good one tho.
Yum! Is that some sort of taco salad? It looks delicious! They have a really good taco salad at McAlister's here in Mississippi. It has tortilla chips on the bottom, lettuce tomatos and all the regular salad stuff in the middle and chili on the top. You can't eat it every day, but it's a nice treat.
Yum :-)
