Looks ideal to me
No mowing or shoveling
I could live here!
I have been watching the World Cup non-stop, which explains why my comments on other blogs have been so infrequent. The USA team lost to Belgium, and although I feel badly, it was a great game and Tim Howard was awesome.
Wonderful balcony garden. I do prefer the real kind though, even if it involves mowing :) But I can see the appeal in living there.

pretty little spot.
ReplyDeleteOh I hear you Kate.. I'm positive my jungle is trying to kill me :) I do love gardening but sometimes, just sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a little more spare time :)
ReplyDeleteYa, I'm thinking that too.
ReplyDeleteit's cute but like mersad, i love a yard! i don't know anything about the world cup but it seems like it got really popular this year, in the usa.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful looking place. Looks like a very pleasant place to live.
ReplyDeleteAs I get older, my huge yard becomes less appealing but my dog needs a yard. That balcony is small but pretty.
ReplyDeleteI can see the appeal, but these days I'm enjoying the elbow room of our land and the peace and quiet of country living and no common walls. And I do like living at ground level. (BTW I'm also enjoying "The Boys in the Boat!" Great book!)
ReplyDeleteYou could? And others of your commenters say they could? I must be way out of sync. I really couldn't do it. Of course, the time at which some big changes in my life must happen are only 10 - 20 years away, but at this point I still feel active and am not ready for such a radical shift.
ReplyDeleteI like the colours of the building.
ReplyDeleteBTW, 109 East Palace is on my coffee table, per your recommendation, likely to be read after The Norm Chronicles, and The Boys in the Boat was ordered last night, also per your recommendation. I have The Interestings as an e-book, which might be a mistake because I mainly read paper, not electrons.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a downtown condo.....and a house in the country.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely balcony. Me too, I could live there.
ReplyDeleteAbout the World Cup, the USA goalkeeper was just great, awesome indeed!
If or when I can't take care of my yard and garden I think I'd like a condo downtown or on/near Grand Avenue.
