The Farmer's Market is one of the pleasures of summer
No, I have never ridden in a hot air balloon. I have this thing about high places. We have friends that got married in a hot air balloon though. Quite romantic. .
Wow, those hanging planters are gorgeous. Somewhere around 20 years ago, I was visiting a friend who was living in St. Paul at the time and we went to this Farmer's Market. I remember being blown away by all the great looking vegetables and I also remember a big selection of gladiolas for sale. In fact, I think my friend bought some. We hardly ever see gladiolas down here.
What a great way to celebrate - with flowers and fresh produce!
PS: USA and Germany were in the same group of 4 in the first round. They played each other on June 26th. Final score 1:0 for Germany. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/germany-us-0-0-halftime-164817034--sow.html
Provided they are organic, I'll have both asparagus and kohlrabi (though here that would be more of a winter vegetable and I'm trying to stick to seasonal produce)! Lovely summer post!
I do love the fresh flowers and veggies of summer!
