Well-known Marathoner

Didn't realize when I took his photo that this runner is well-known.  Later I found a previous interview with him on You Tube

To my blogging friends, I haven't been commenting on your posts for awhile because of a difficult  neck issue, making the typing after just a few minutes pretty painful despite some pain killers.  I'm following your posts, though!  I've pre-scheduled a few photos and hope that they won't run out before this issue is resolved.  Happy blogging, everyone.

  2. Oh Kate. I had a neck pain for two years once. Tried a multitude of treatments. I recommend ... basking in the sun in Santa Fe until Spring.I have enjoyed the marathon pics...Janey

  9. I did a long bicycle ride with my son the weekend before last. He let me set the pace. At the end he told me that we went about the same distance as a marathon, and my pace was slower than the best marathon runners cover the same distance -- on foot.

Best wishes for a full and fast recovery.

  13. The one thing I've learned from neck and back pain is how much you use either without thinking about it, and how painful it is when something acts up. I hope it eases up for you soon...or sooner!
