The chain link fence that lines one side of the Memorial site has tokens, notes, and articles of remembrance affixed to it. These poignant photographs honor the two women and the unborn son of the woman on the left who all died so tragically.

ReplyDeleteSo sad! It's so hard to believe that such a terrible thing could happen in the U.S.A.
ReplyDeleteSuch a disaster become ever more poignant when one puts faces with the names of the victims!
ReplyDeleteSeeing faces of real people killed in such a senseless act takes it out of the abstract and makes it understandable as an act of the purest evil.
