Happy Birthday, Max !

I met these two beautiful people yesterday so Max and I could celebrate our birthdays which occur today! Both Max and Jill were students of mine when they were in high school; after they graduated in 2003, I briefly lost touch with them, but followed Max's academic and professional career off and on.  So delighted that he and Jill are now "a romantic number."  Couldn't have happened to two nicer people.

  6. They look good together, must be very rewarding teaching and keeping 'in touch' with past students to see how they get on in life! Hope you had a great birthday Kate!(and Max too)

  11. I really like how you captured the portraits of these two former students. You must have been a great teacher if they still want to know you. :))

Happy Birthday to you and what a wonderful way to celebrate. I LOVE this picture! I love the way Jill has her head turned and is touching her hat. So cute!
