ReplyDeleteGood Monday morning Kate!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are very familiar view:) I used to knit even in the kitchen during waiting that food get ready and children will come to eat.
Now photos take my time and I have many boxes full of yarns waiting. . .
good staring week to you Kate!
The item on the right appears to intended to fool moths.
ReplyDelete"Oh, one of the brothers has been here already. Move along, nothing to see here..."
Knit one, purl one.... there you go the sum total of my knitting. We were taught at school, I recall knitting a scarf. There are a couple of trendy knitting shops here so I guess it is making a comeback.
ReplyDeleteKnitting sweaters and knitting lives. I love it!
ReplyDeleteK2tog?

«Louis» thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
Looks like some talent is here as well as friendship.
ReplyDeleteI haven't knitted in years! I wouldn't mind trying it again.
ReplyDeleteAlways a joy to get together with others. Reminds me of my Grandmother who knitted dozens of slippers, mittens and scarves.
ReplyDeleteI could make the tea/coffee because I sure as heck would make a mess of the knitting!!
ReplyDeleteI bet it's fun to see how the other knitters' projects grow into sweaters, hats, gloves, or whatever.
ReplyDeletemy mum is a brilliant knitter, i think she would be perfect addition to the company.
ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing over jb's comment above.
ReplyDeleteI love my knitting group. As one of the members said one day, when we had been comforting another member over a loss--"our group is lot more than just dropped stitches and tangled skeins."
I wonder if they ever get to talking and realize they are using someone elses yarn.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt and grandma used to do that together. They offered to teach me one summer, but I politely declined.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should look for something like this in Toronto. I haven't knitted in awhile, but I'm sure I'd catch on quick!
