Knitters

Many hands make quick work!  At one of the local cafes a group of women meet once a week to knit together and compare notes...about knitting, life, families. . .

  4. Knit one, purl one.... there you go the sum total of my knitting. We were taught at school, I recall knitting a scarf. There are a couple of trendy knitting shops here so I guess it is making a comeback.

  9. Always a joy to get together with others. Reminds me of my Grandmother who knitted dozens of slippers, mittens and scarves.

  13. I'm still laughing over jb's comment above.

I love my knitting group. As one of the members said one day, when we had been comforting another member over a loss--"our group is lot more than just dropped stitches and tangled skeins."
