Camera Critters-Quite a Surprise

After exiting my house, I was surprised to see this critter on one of the hanging baskets, and it didn't move nor fly away despite my movement.  When I got too ambitious and tried to remove the dead leaf so that the photo would be more attractive, the critter flew away.  It was a pleasant surprise to see this beautiful creature.   To see more camera critters, click here.

  2. This is a remarkable photo. If this bug landed on your book or newspaper, you would not have to shoo him away. You could read through his wings.

  3. He looks so transparent, especially with his green midsection matching the leaves. What a wonderful shot.

  8. That's the trouble with these critters...the minute you start draggin' something away, the dragon fly flies!

    Nice shot, though!

His coloring is very striking. His head almost looks gold. What a treat for you to see him so close-up! And funny that he endured all of your attention until you tried to pretty up the place.
