The Watering Hole


This is one reason why our canine friends enjoy joining us at our neighborhood cafe.  We all need to feel welcomed!

    Too right. We see this here in the restaurants. Ask for water for the dog and they bring it.

    We enjoy going to Laguna Beach each summer, and having breakfast at Madison Square Garden Cafe, which has only outdoor seating, and several dog dishes. Lots of people walk their dogs and stop by for breakfast. My mother in law, a retired school teacher who likes dogs more than people, loves it.

    I think thats a must down here. We have a bowl on our front porch for our stray kitty. Every cat and dog in the area visit us for a drink.

    Run, Olivia, run! I always LOVED these end-of-year activities when teachers and students interact in such a different way. Like FUN runs. (Did someone say fun)?

    Canines can eat at certain of our restaurants, also, but I don't see very many doing it. Too bad.

    Dog friendly places are popping up more these days. Maybe Paris Hilton made it more acceptable by bringing her little dog with her everywhere, and what wise business owner would turn her away. Or maybe it's just because the business owners love their own dogs a lot. Whatever the reason, I think it's nice.
