The overpass may be forgettable, but this parkway is a road to remember. And I'm pretty sure I've been on it. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese certainly deserve their names to be called parkways.
ReplyDeleteI like it but is it high enough for triple-decker sheep trucks which it would need to pass through the eye of the needle were your bridge in our country.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice looking tree lined avenue through the bridge Kate and made more exciting to me by the fact it runs alongside the Mississippi River.
ReplyDeleteI love the shadows here
ReplyDeleteI love how green it is unlike all of our brown here.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice day heading your way.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful green surroundings on these streets.
ReplyDeleteLets go straight ahead!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jarart.....I'd like to drive straight!
ReplyDelete«Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
ReplyDeleteLove the trees!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful landscape one can see from the car window!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pleasant scene. The parkways of this era were far more appealing than the massive highways we build today, but many of them are choked with volumes of traffic that were never contemplated when they were built. That doesn't seem to be the problem here.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so neat and tidy with the streets lined with trees.
