"On the Beach in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia"
This is another striking photograph in the National Geographic Portrait Exhibit I recently saw in Duluth, MN.
For an explanation, see yesterday's post.

encore une magnifique photo, j'adore ta selection
ReplyDeleteLove the heels on the little girl.
ReplyDeleteAn intriguing shot. These three women/girls pull you right in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous photograph. Makes you want to give up! Or, on the other hand, it inspires. Just stunning and so beautifully framed.
ReplyDeleteThe photograph isn't that much different from those people take all over the world. The only difference I can see is that it has been entered in this National Geographic Portrait Exhibit, and obviously, it shows us a side of a different way of life. I think the young woman carving a primitive figure while half-way submerged in the creek, would be just as stunning. I saw them both, maybe that is the difference.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo. The innocence of children sometimes transcends all. They look like they're from very different backgrounds, but they have fun together anyway. Not sure the relationships will last into adulthood though.
ReplyDeletevery interesting and poetic
