Theme Day: Mirror, Mirror on the Wall!

“Never believe in mirrors or newspapers."

The quote is somewhat ironic since the frame of the mirror and the jug are made of newspapers, designed by artisans in a third world country.  The objects are in a shop called 10,000 Villages,  a non-profit free trade store in St. Paul where I volunteer one day a week.

Theme Day has come around again. This month's choice is "reflections": Click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

  3. A nice reflection, but the things I like more are those objects: they are so unusual, vreative and beautiful...

  14. She's the fairest of us all! Fun to see you a little bit in the mirror, Kate. Thanks for sharing about the shop and the work of the artisans. You must have fun seeing all the beautiful items. It would be dangerous for me to work in such a shop as I'd want to take a lot of it home :-).
