Helping Haiti


If you have been watching television, the images are dramatic and the devastation is enormous. For those of us who wish, I think it would be a wonderful gesture to contribute financially to help the rescue efforts.  We all have our favorite charities and agencies; mine will go to UNICEF, earmarked for the relief efforts in Haiti.     Excellent reminder, Kate. If we were to find ourselves amid such devastation, even the smallest gesture of kindness would make a difference.

    Yes, just terrible!!! (I have given something to some other organisations.) There is time to give, the building up will take years and years! ... and we, the US, France and many others owe them a lot to compensate for historic "bad behaviour"!
