The day after we returned from 3 months in sunny Mazatlán, México the Midwest played its special brand of April Fool on us--a snowfall! These are scenes in my neighborhood. I miss México!!
That photo you have on the bottom right looks similiar to the one I posted on my blog. I loved how it stuck to each branch. But I love even more how fast its melting! GOODBYE SNOW!!! 58 degrees by Friday! To us here who haven't gotten any Mexican sun warmth, thats tropical. Have a great day!
I'm not laughing...really! Okay, maybe just a little, but we've had over a hundred inches down here in Madison this year, so you can understand why we rejoice when someone else gets it for a change. Welcome back to the Midwest, Kate!
I can understand you miss the warm sun of Mexico but these photos make my day, not even a small flake here this year...
ReplyDeleteOh Kate, I am sorry!
ReplyDeleteI have seen, that now we have a little warmer than you have there.
But soon, Kate, soon !
( Ps. I am back in DPbloggers , I started to miss too much all of you )
LOL, Kate it looks like the dead of winter!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, we had the "April Fools Blizzard" - we ended up with a foot of snow.
welcome back home Katy! your mind is probably still in Mazatlan, looking at your pictures you should have prolonged your stay in sunny Mexico =)
ReplyDeleteCrazy! No wonder you miss Mexico! (... but somehow the snow looks really nice!)

ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty, though! (I had the same feelings coming back from FL).
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I can imagine! However, how beautiful it is and what super photos. I'd be cold tho too...

Beautiful photos. I have never seen snow but would love to. Until then I will dream about scenes like this one.
