ABC WEDNESDAY-"O is for OUCH"
This morning I checked with J's mother on her progress after surgery (see yesterday's post), and I was told that she "is a little grumpy." After an accident, x-rays, meds, surgery, and recovery, I guess "grumpy" is okay. I thought a photo of her bear, hiding her pain is more appropriate. But, she's going home today already!! Can you believe it!!

Oh Ouch for sure. So glad all is well and the surgery was a success....
ReplyDeletePoor J! I can see she likes that pink cat! I do too. And it looks like the cat's expression might match J's mood today. :)Glad things went well for her.
ReplyDeleteGood O post, I hope she feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteSo cute she even dresses him up. Hope recovery is fast.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute photo!
ReplyDeleteI hope little miss is fine now...

ReplyDeleteWe just talked about short hospital visits the other day. I remember when people stayed in for two or three weeks for things they do in one day now. I don't know what the difference is but it must be insurance.
ReplyDeleteThis little lady has had an ordeal and I am thankful the worst is over for her and that she can get back to what is normal for her. She is a strong little soul.
Science is a fast moving discipline!
ReplyDeleteA bit like Technology I guess! LOL
You have chosen the most universal O there is!
ReplyDeleteAnd a speedy recovery to the one who said it.
That's a gorgeous picture. My sister did something similar when she was this little girl's age, and I remember being a bit jealous of all the attention she was getting! Now of course I know better :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that she will be all better soon! :)

Glad to hear she is well and going home. I guess grumpy is better than pain. Her pink happy bear will hopefully make her smile.
ReplyDeleteKate- thank you for the fine company during surgery and the beautiful post on your blog. The patient is on the mend and loving home. LOL - J's mom
ReplyDeleteI hope little miss is fine now!
ReplyDeleteI can believe it! I'm surprised she got to stay in the hospital at all. They are making so many procedures "outpatient" these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo! I can identify.
