ABC WEDNESDAY-"O is for OUCH"

This morning I checked with J's mother on her progress after surgery (see yesterday's post), and I was told that she "is a little grumpy." After an accident, x-rays, meds, surgery, and recovery, I guess "grumpy" is okay. I thought a photo of her bear, hiding her pain is more appropriate. But, she's going home today already!! Can you believe it!!

    Poor J! I can see she likes that pink cat! I do too. And it looks like the cat's expression might match J's mood today. :)Glad things went well for her.

    We just talked about short hospital visits the other day. I remember when people stayed in for two or three weeks for things they do in one day now. I don't know what the difference is but it must be insurance.

    This little lady has had an ordeal and I am thankful the worst is over for her and that she can get back to what is normal for her. She is a strong little soul.

    That's a gorgeous picture. My sister did something similar when she was this little girl's age, and I remember being a bit jealous of all the attention she was getting! Now of course I know better :)

    I can believe it! I'm surprised she got to stay in the hospital at all. They are making so many procedures "outpatient" these days.
