I am still trying to figure out blogger's new format since I last posted regularly, which is frustrating so please bear with me. This scene is far too common in recent years. Unfortunately we have encroached on wildlife territory so we see deer and lots of coyotes in our urban neighborhood. Look closely and you will see me standing by the silver car in the background, gawking with the rest of the neighbors while hoping that this little one will make it safely home probably a few block away by the Mississippi River.

Poor little Doe. Hope she found her way back home.
ReplyDeleteDon’t feel alone.I think we all are still trying to navigate ourselves around the new blogger format.
Hope she makes it home, at least she is not being chased by a coyote.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the format either, but it'll take practice.
ReplyDeleteThe sweet little deer.
In many western cities the deer have found it is safer for them to be in town than out in the countryside with predators. Must drive carefully as they wander into traffic, but I have never seen one hit as the locals all look out for them. Perhaps you will also gain an urban deer population?
ReplyDeleteOh my, that poor little guy. I hope he made to safety too. We don't see and deer around here but coyotes and bobcats are another story. Where Julie lives on the side of Camelback Mountain she sees bobcats and racoons and all kinds of critters roaming around.
ReplyDeleteOh my! What a surprise.
ReplyDeleteOh it's so sweet Kate, hope he's not frightened and makes it safely back to where he came from đź’™
ReplyDeleteWe see kangaroos in our street sometimes but we are in a very small country town not a built up area like this.
