Last of the Season?

So glad that the weather is still holding! The leaves on the trees, especially the red maples, are brilliant in colour.  I didn't expect to see these lovely blossoms floating in an outdoor pond at Como Conservatory, but I was happy to be able to enjoy them still!

  1. Enjoy them while you can. I always loved when autumn hung on and one could enjoy the beauty of Minnesota for a while longer.

  7. The lotus flower holds special religious significance in both Buddhism, and Hinduism. Lovely photo.

  8. These are perfection. I tried to shoot some water lilies this summer and found the leaves were covered with little brown spots. They shared the pond with a huge population of ducks. I suspect that may have had something to do with it.
